- Spring 2015 Completion
- Expansion of the existing Alexandra District Energy Utility (DEU) in Richmond, BC. Scope included installation of new supply & return mains, extensions from existing mains to two new fluid coolers and pumps. Scope also includes installing two new distribution pumps, providing new plant controls and expanding the District Energy Utility (DEU) piping to the existing geothermal system in the same neighborhood. This in preparation for the next phase of expansion.
- Construction of one energy transfer stations (ETS) in a new residential complex connected to the utility. ETS was provided complete with brazed plate heat exchangers, and associated controls.
- Construction method utilized extensive 3D BIM modeling and off-site fabrication which was completed concurrently with the erection of the structure in order to expedite the project delivery date.
