PROJECT HIGHLIGHT:
- This project contained a large underground piping component which was installed at the height of the rainy season in B.C. providing many logistical challenges. The Walmart store was also one of the first in Canada to contain a central HVAC plant as opposed to the traditional rooftop unit design for big box stores. The HVAC system incorporated low loss headers as well as pressure differential control to facility more energy efficient transfer of energy throughout the heating and cooling systems. A Novar Controls system was installed that tied into the owner’s national HVAC controls and reporting system.
